Ismael Fernandez Cuevas, PhD Extraordinary Award of the Technical University of Madrid

Ismael Fernandez Cuevas (co-founder of ThermoHuman), PhD Extraordinary Award of the Technical University of Madrid. Last January 28, on the occasion of the St. Tomas de Aquino celebration, the Technical University of Madrid organized an event in which Ismael Fernandez Cuevas  received the PhD Extraordinary Award for his work entitled “Effect of endurance, speed and strength training on skin temperature measured by Infrared Thermography”

This award represents a recognition for the research work developed by pemaGROUP, and especially to the outstanding work of Manuel Sillero Quintana, supervisor of Ismael Fernandez and professor at the Faculty of Sciences for Physical Activity and Sport (INEF) and Co-founder and Research Director of pemaGROUP.

Europa Thermohuman ThermoHuman has had the support of the Funds of the European Union and the Community of Madrid through the Operational Programme on Youth Employment. Likewise, ThermoHuman within the framework of the Export Initiation Program of ICEX NEXT, had the support of ICEX and the co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

CDTI Thermohuman has received funding from the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), in participation with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), for the R+D activities involved in creating a new tool, based on thermography, for the prediction and prevention of rheumatoid arthritis.
